10 YouTube Channels You Should Know About

I’ve been trying to find new channels to watch on YouTube. It seems like everyone’s getting canceled these days. I’ve always been a Netflix enjoyer but I really like watching YouTube, because it’s so easy to put on any video without having to pay such close attention that you’ll miss something. I’ve developed a rotation of channels I check out on a regular basis. Here’s a curated list of some of my favorites at the moment.

Click For Taz

Taz is probably one of the most interesting YouTubers to watch. Based in London, her videos include in-depth experiences/challenges of fashion, cooking/food, environment, and more. The experiments she documents are well thought out and she really commits to the challenges she does and I love watching them. I would link more but these are a few of the ones I enjoyed the most. Check out some of my favorite videos of hers below.

Amandabb

Amanda really is one of the most thorough YouTubers when it comes to reviews on news, shows, pop culture, etc. Each video is long and it’s so easy to put her videos on and listen to her rant. It’s like you’re talking to a friend. She’s direct and explains things at face value so well. She’s funny and smart, check out some of my favorite videos of hers below. If there’s one I’d strong-arm you to watch it’s why is it so HARD to just believe women… It’s such an in-depth explanation of a woman’s experience with harassment from men and it’s so well explained.

Chris Klemens

There is no need to explain why I love Chris Klemens. I love his attitude towards everything. If you’re looking to watch someone sarcastic, to the point, insanely funny, and crazy all at once you’re in the right place. I’ve been watching his videos ever since he lived in New York and he’s still so genuine. My favorite video of his is Asking White People Where They’re Really From. He asks this question to white people who generally ask it to most BIPOC. It was really great watching him confront white people about this. I included that link below but there are so many funny videos being put out right now it’s hard to pick favorites.

Elsa Rhae & Barron

Elsa and Barron are a couple on YouTube that lives off the grid in a Scamp Trailer with their Shiba Inu Kamp. Their videos are very aesthetically pleasing and will make you think you’re capable of living off the grid (when really you’re probably not equipped at all). I love seeing the possibilities of what it means to travel and realistically live in a more remote area. They really define and educate their viewers on what’s really necessary to live off of to be happy. Check out some of my favorite videos of theirs below.

Bbomni 뽐니

Bbomni is a Korean Youtuber specifically focused on Beauty videos and makeup salon experiences. You’ll have to turn on subtitles to watch her videos, but I love watching the different trends in makeup. Her voice is very soothing and seeing the different styles of makeup looks in Korea is really cool to watch. American makeup is really different from Korea but it’s always interesting learning about what trends are popular in other countries.

Gretchen Geraghty

Gretchen Geraghty is a lifestyle, fashion, fitness YouTuber. She’s so sweet and kind, and I love watching how she spends her day. The vlogs are aesthetically pleasing and she’s a positive energy to watch. Anytime I want inspiration for outfits, room aesthetics, or just want to catch up on her vlogs it’s always fun to watch.

Babish Culinary Universe

Binging with Babish is one of my favorite series on this channel. If you’re into watching cooking-related videos I highly suggest checking out some of the ones I have linked below. Each video is amazing quality with insane detail to trying out different recipes, cooking methods, and trying out famous foods from notable movies and television shows. I always end up watching this channel when I’m hungry which isn’t a good idea but it’s great for education, getting meal ideas, or general entertainment.

About To Eat

This channel features a cast of video makers who are enthusiastic about food. Adam, Inga, Alvin, Rie, and more are featured in these videos. What I love about this channel is how in-depth they are when it comes to cooking, reviewing, or testing out a product. The videos revolve around food knowledge and the different ways each member of this channel cooks a specific dish or uses a certain ingredient. This channel is elite and it’s in a similar editing style to the Buzzfeed series Worth It. If you’re looking for high-quality food-related content, check out some of the linked videos below.

1MILLION Dance Studio

If you’ve ever done a deep dive into the choreography side of YouTube you’ll recognize 1MILLION Dance Studio. This studio is based in Korea with ridiculously talented dancers. I’ve watched nearly all of the videos put out by 1MILLION and I’m always blown away by how talented people are. I almost start sweating just watching how fast some of these dancers are able to move. There’s a ton of channels dedicated to dance and different dance studios around the world. The talent that exists in this world is insane. Check out some of the linked videos below.

Try Guys

The Try Guys have put out some of the best videos for testing out different challenges as well as putting themselves in situations where most men wouldn’t even try themselves. Ever since they left Buzzfeed I think their content has gotten so much more in-depth. I love how they’re a group of men who are willing to put their ego and masculinity aside to try out different things. They do fun challenges with fashion, cooking, as well as addressing social issues through interesting videos. Check out a few of my favorites below.
